AI PR-review bot

Problem
PR review across the team's repos was manual and inconsistent — every PR needed a human to cross-check it against its Jira acceptance criteria before merge.
Approach
Built a GitHub Action powered by Claude Code that reads each PR, pulls its linked Jira ticket, and checks the diff against the stated acceptance criteria automatically.
Result
Consistent, automated review coverage on every PR, freeing engineers from manual acceptance-criteria checks.

GitOps delivery migration
Weekly → daily deploys
Problem
Releases were manual and infrequent — deploying meant someone running the right commands in the right order, with rollback largely improvised.
Approach
Migrated delivery to GitOps using ArgoCD and GitHub Actions, turning manual release steps into peer-reviewed pull requests that trigger automated deployment.
Result
Deploys moved from weekly to daily, and rollback dropped to under 15 minutes.

Console-to-Terraform migration
Multi-day → same-day environment stand-up
Problem
Sonos's AWS environment was built by hand in the console — every new environment took days, and configuration drift between environments was common.
Approach
Converted the existing infrastructure into peer-reviewed Terraform modules, importing live resources into state with zero downtime.
Result
Standing up a new environment became a same-day process instead of a multi-day one.

  • Built and shipped an AI-powered PR-review bot (Claude Code, GitHub Action) across repos that checks every PR against its Jira acceptance criteria.
  • Integrate LaunchPad into daily engineering workflows to accelerate troubleshooting, development, and automation.
  • Built internal MCP servers exposing cluster state and routine ops to AI agents behind RBAC-scoped, fully audited access, moving engineers off ticketed kubectl access onto self-serve queries.
  • Migrated delivery to GitOps (ArgoCD + GitHub Actions): deploys went from weekly to daily, manual release steps became peer-reviewed PRs, and rollback dropped to under 15 minutes.
  • Consolidated alerting onto Prometheus/Grafana with Datadog dashboards and PagerDuty routing, cutting noisy pages and shortening on-call diagnosis time.
  • Expanded the platform into a second AWS region, designing for multi-region resilience and failover so a regional outage no longer takes production down.
  • Shared the on-call rotation, running blameless postmortems and closing out repeat incidents so the same failure didn't page the team twice.

  • Converted console-built AWS infrastructure to peer-reviewed Terraform modules, importing existing resources with no downtime and turning new-environment stand-up into a same-day process instead of a multi-day one.
  • Built the first CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Docker) with automated testing and artifact promotion across dev, staging, and prod, moving releases from monthly hand-offs to weekly.
  • Built a custom hardened RHEL image compliant with internal security requirements, standardizing the base OS across every EC2 deployment.
  • Stood up on-call from nothing: Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch dashboards plus a runbook library covering the top failure modes, replacing tribal knowledge during outages.
  • Documented platform decisions and rollout plans so product and engineering teams knew what was changing and why.
